Project 3 Research
Research for this project was not as easy as the other projects as it was far more restricted in subject. I First like the look of Gerald Walsh who uses light drawing but after deciding on what My project was going to be like I changed my precidents who photographed in the way that I plan to. I then found Ryan bush. His work which ive looked at uses a lot of relections and repetition in photography and in the series that I liked most he used a lot of patterns which is something i was looking into. I dont plan to emulate or copy his work but use it as a starting point for my photography and after finding him it has pushed me into the right direction.
Due to copyright I cant copy the images but Ill put up a link

Project 3 Proposal
Ok project 3. LIGHT. Ive chosen to go down the path of the 4 objects photographed twice and transforming them with light. My objects are going to be all transparent or translucent and using the reflections and refractions to explore my chosen objects and come up with compositions. I started with using an old glass bottle and explored that in a studio environment. my other object Ive started my project with was a glass filled with water and upon seeing what the photos look like I decided to incorporate patterns into my project. My other objects are going to include a pattern in some way, wether it be on the object or arrangement. for my next shoot Ill explore these two objects again and two more which I am still undecided upon.

Project 2 evaluation
After finishing and handing it in I am quite dissapointed with my project. It needs refinement as it doesnt show what I wanted tit to and it doesnt communicate my desired objective. It needs more work but now that its handed in all I can do now is make a start and a better project for project 3
project 2 Clip
My project, a stop motion video is focused on as time goes on the understanding of creativity and the abstract changes and the role imagination plays in a person’s creative development. In the beginning, as a toddler the imagination can see anything it wants in simple constructs. An aeroplane can be made out of a box .But as time goes on the understanding of structure grows, the imagination is somewhat lost and creations become more literal. Eventually drawings and creations are fully literal, a person is a person, a car is a car and the imagination of the abstract is lost. A child would not understand the works of Picaso or any other artist who used abstract forms. But again as time goes on there is a change in the understanding of abstract. Faces and structures can be found by looking and feeling. Abstract art begins to make sense again. The Faces at the end are to portray the sadness, confusion and happiness at different times in a person’s creative development.
